Hotel Villa Borghi

Hotel Villa Borghi is a 4*hotel with little or none 4* commodities. In my opinion the quality standard doesn't even meet the 3* standard... I would put between 2* and 3*... so: 2.5* considering the look of the historical building. And that's it. Too expensive for the quality and commodities they offer. They advertise and sell the hotel using pictures of top standard and quality rooms and then you arrive at the hotel and you get something different, not according to a 4* standard and not even similar to what you booked taking into consideration the pictures and description of the hotel. It's a big disappointment. I don't recommend Hotel Villa Borghi to anyone. Just take a look at the pictures I post here of the deluxe double room 🤔: minibar empty, broken furniture, small and old closet, lamps full of dust and not clean, shower not properly cleaned and maintained, bed with only two pillows and of very basic quality, cheap plastic cups and paper cups. So, basically: a fraud.

Beautiful historic villa and pleasant interior (main building). The rooms have a peculiar historical interior, but it is quite worn, however it is still in tolerable condition and this wear even gives a kind of charm. Beautiful views and quiet. Breakfast was OK for Italy. The opening hours of the pool are too short, 10:30 - 18:30, but the morning cleaning was finished there at about 08:00 and nobody minded if we went earlier.

this is the old Villa of the Borgi family. When I came to this place, I thought there were rooms, however, we are staying in a small guesthouse next to this villa. so this Villa is just an Advertisement. the staff is kind. since I came in December, all the new guests want to know that it's really cold here. I recommend that before you come to these rooms, order that your rooms be heated, because we lost weight from the cold.

Nice hotel and spacious rooms however the breakfast was terrible and the hotel must be understaffed as we had to clear up the plates of previous customers to be able to have breakfast - which is really unacceptable for a “4-star” hotel. You will not be asked what drinks you want but need to chase the waitress. Staff at the reception unfortunately clearly do not enjoy their jobs.

Hotel Villa Borghi near Milan promises a luxurious four-star experience but fails to deliver on multiple fronts. Right from the outset, the service was lackluster, lacking the attention to detail and warmth you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The room was another disappointment—specifically, the bed, which was uncomfortably hard, making for a restless night. To top it off, the pool was closed, which was especially frustrating considering the 28-degree heat outside. A hotel that claims to offer a premium experience should not fall short in these basic areas. Overall, Hotel Villa Borghi was a letdown, meriting a rating of just 2 out of 5.

Beautiful location and landscape! The hotel is magnificent, filled with historical landmarks. Unfortunately, our room was in a secondary and MODERN building. This did not allow us to enjoy the experience we were looking for. The room was big and in great condition. They did not tell us the checkout time. We ended up having to pay a penalty… ending a stay on a negative note, is the WORST possible thing. It ruins the whole trip. Make sure to (a) understand in advance the room you are getting, and (b) the general policy.
